“The Story of Me Supporting an Underground Idol from the Shadows” depicts the relationship between a Gal classmate, Natsukawa, and an unremarkable boy, Kageyama. Despite seeming to have no connection, Kageyama secretly receives a message from Natsukawa saying, “Meet me at the usual karaoke place after school.” He goes to karaoke with her alone. There, Kageyama reveals something he had been asked by Natsukawa to show her.
